Be responsible for developing and driving the implementation of a global SEO strategy for the brand, maximising performance across multiple marketsCreate growth plans to drive commercial opportunity, spanning the full SEO spectrum, including content, product, outreach and technical.Identify new opportunities, taking inspiration from our own data, competitor analysis and other industry best practiceConduct regular (daily) spot checks using traffic analysis, keyword research and on-page auditing to ensure opportunities are raised and prioritised quickly.Optimise content, ensuring relevant and natural keyword usage and incorporation of semantically relevant search terms.Technical analysis, using crawling tools such as Screaming Frog & Sitebulb and other third party services (GTMetrix/Ryte +more) along with manual inspection.Align and encourage the company’s Product and Development teams to ensure all websites and new pages are optimised from a technical point of view, prioritising search engine indexation and accessibility, internal linking, structured data, media delivery & infrastructure (page speed) when building rich web experiences.Work with Analyst and Outreach resources to regularly review work for QA; conducting analysis, making recommendations and providing supporting information to ensure our high standards are consistently met.Be the voice of reason when planning link building strategy and content campaigns. Rationalise great ideas by reminding of the prescribed topics, quantified opportunities elected for discussion to ensure the output has both the mechanics to drive SEO performance but also the right content and tone to resonate with the target audience via a healthy blend of outreach techniques.Communicate ongoing developments in the SEO and digital marketing space back into the internal team, attending events and training sessions.Strive to develop new techniques and optimisation efforts based on a test, improving mentality while staying abreast of industry updates and opportunities.Raise awareness internally of the importance of SEO and champion investment that will be conducive to achieving company objectives.Ensure that performance & data is at the heart of all SEO strategy; delivering ROI for suggested activities and development.
